Police have rescued 65 Ethiopians from a house in Mihang’o, Nairobi, where they were found emaciated and physically weak, amid suspected human trafficking. The foreigners were discovered yesterday after a caretaker reported seeing them inside a house along Gesora Road. The group told police they were travelling to South Africa in search of jobs and had entered Kenya through the Moyale border.Three Kenyans found inside the house were arrested for questioning as investigators seek to establish how the foreigners arrived there and whether an organised trafficking network was involved.CSI officers from the DCI in Kayole processed the scene before the Ethiopians were taken to Kayole Police Station for further action.Police say investigations are ongoing to establish how long the group had been at the house and identify other people who may have been involved.
