
Before entering elective politics, Kaguchia worked as a Customer Care Coordinator at Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company between 2008 and 2017.
His academic background spans commerce, diplomacy and law. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenyatta University between 2003 and 2007 before pursuing a Master of Arts in Diplomacy at the University of Nairobi from 2010 to 2012.
He later studied for a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Nairobi between 2013 and 2017 and completed the Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law from 2018 to 2019, qualifying him for legal practice.
Kaguchia returned to the spotlight this week following his arrest on August 3 over remarks he made at a political rally.
He was taken to court on August 5, where he was released on a Sh1 million bond or an alternative cash bail of Sh250,000 pending the hearing of the case.
