Kenyan comedian and podcaster Dr Ofweneke has opened up about the values behind his recent marriage. During an episode of his Lessons at 30 podcast, he discussed his relationship with his wife, Diana Ingosi.

Dr Ofweneke held his traditional wedding ceremony on May 9, 2026. The event followed a period where the couple kept their engagement relatively low-key.
“When you really value somethingyes you don't showcase it to some people or to everyone you in a sanctum knows about it and most importantly you leave it to God,” Mijungu told him.
Mijungu believes that keeping certain aspects of life private protects the value of the relationship. He noted that once he and his partner were aligned, the public's opinion became secondary.
The Upcoming White Wedding
During the interview, Ken Mijungu teased the host about the recent celebrations. Mijungu joked that he should have gate-crashed the primary school venue where festivities were held. Ofweneke confirmed that the celebrations are not yet over.
This upcoming white wedding will mark the next stage of their public commitment. Ofweneke expressed total confidence in his choice of spouse. He attributed the lack of doubt in his decision to divine guidance.
