Kenyan businessman and fashion designer Bolo Bespoke has publicly thanked his wife for standing by him, saying he would marry her twice.
In an Instagram post, he credited her with nurturing, protecting and building with him over the past decade.
“Today, before everybody here, I’m saying this once again. I’m going to marry you twice.”
‘She has built with me’
Bolo described his wife as a dependable partner who has walked with him through different stages of life. He said he does not take her support for granted.
“This woman has nurtured me into who I am today,” he said. “This woman has protected me. This woman has walked with me, she has built with me, and she has taken care of me.”
A rare show of emotion
Bolo also spoke about his wife’s emotional strength, saying she rarely cries.
In the 10 years they have been together, he had seen her in tears only twice before a recent gathering. Both times followed the deaths of her grandfather and her aunt.
Seeing her emotional at the event, he said, made him realise how much it meant to her.

“She is not easily moved. She is very powerful, very strong, and she holds me so many times.”
“So, when you see Mueni cries, get to know that the grounds have shaken, and action must follow,” he said.
He added that his wife keeps her promises. He described her as determined and committed to the people around her.
Praise for her kindness to others
Bolo also praised his wife for the way she treats people. He said she helps those around her to grow.
He noted that she has been good to his family and to others in her circle. He said he admires her ability to recognise potential in people.
“You are good to everybody, and I’ve proved that. You are good to my family, you are good to me.”
“Above all, you have a broad view of what each person in your circle should be,” he said.
He described her willingness to uplift others as one of the qualities he values most.
“You see the good in people, and that’s why everybody say you are connected,” he added.
He then joked with her: “Madam, please give me some of your connections. Because when I also grow up, I want to be you.”

Bolo dismisses marriage rumours
In the same post, Bolo joked about rumours surrounding marriage. He suggested that some people spread negative stories to put others off settling down.
His caption read:
“Ati marriage hubamba mafala 😂😂 we daganywa tu ndio usioe.. skiza rumours kabisa. Sijakaliwa mimi ni respect tu!”
His remarks challenge the idea that marriage holds people back. Instead, he presented his relationship as one of respect, support and partnership.
The post comes as Bolo publicly celebrates the woman he credits with helping him grow, both personally and in his wider relationships.
