While addressing Parliament, Odhiambo compared Arsenal fans’ celebrations to a popular Luo saying.
“When a cow dies in the home of a poor person, they keep talking about it.”
She said Arsenal supporters had become impossible to ignore because the club had gone so many years without league success.
“They have never seen this for a whole 22 years.”
“My Husband Nearly Divorced Me”
The MP then turned attention to her husband, Maguga Mabona, describing him as a loyal Arsenal fan who endured years of disappointment.
“My husband is an Arsenal supporter. For a long time, I thought he had stopped watching football.”
She jokingly added that the frustrations almost affected their marriage.
“The man nearly divorced me out of depression because the team’s supporters cannot handle defeat for 22 years.”
