Kenya’s petroleum market remains dominated by a handful of major players, with Vivo Energy leading the pack at about 20 per cent market share, according to the latest industry data.

It is followed by Rubis Energy and TotalEnergies, each commanding significant portions of the market.

Mid-tier firms such as Ola Energy and Be Energy trail behind, while smaller players including Hass Petroleum and Galana Oil hold modest shares.

The rankings highlight a competitive but concentrated sector shaping fuel supply across the country.
