Faiba has also emerged as Kenya’s top fixed internet provider for download speeds in 2026, according to new data by nPerf.

The report ranks Faiba first with 62.68 Mb/s, well ahead of Zuku at 35.35 Mb/s and Safaricom at 33.96 Mb/s. VGG Connect posted 21.36 Mb/s, while Airtel recorded 21.03 Mb/s.

Download speed reflects how fast users receive data from the internet, affecting streaming, browsing and downloads.

The findings reinforce Faiba’s lead in Kenya’s fixed internet market, with subscribers enjoying the fastest download performance this year.
