“When you have a wife who earns, it’s so hard for you to spend on her because she can basically afford what she wants,” he said.

He added that women who don’t have earnings will have to be provided for by their husbands.

The singer went on to say that in relationships where both partners earn, the usual gestures of buying gifts or covering expenses don’t carry the same weight. Instead, couples have to find other ways to show care, love, and thoughtfulness.
