Kenyan actress Dorea Chege has decided to take a stand against online harassment. The popular screen star took to social media to confront an individual who has been using a fake account to target her.
This move comes at a time when the actress is firmly back in the spotlight following a major family celebration.
A Fierce Response to Harassment
Dorea shared a blunt message via her Instagram stories to address a critic who has been sending insults to her direct messages (DMs). According to the actress, the individual has been using a pseudo account to hide their identity while attacking her and her family.
In her post, Dorea suggested that the troll likely follows her with a genuine account as well.
“Kuna pseudo inanitukana sana kwa Dm, and since I’m sure you’ve followed me with your real account, you’ll get to see this,” she said.
She questioned the motivation behind the persistent negativity and expressed her frustration with the situation.
"Hunny, heal. I don’t know why you’re soo bitter with my life. Who hurt you? Why is my family a bother to you?” she questioned.

Dorea’s message was not just a simple rebuttal; it was an invitation for the troll to move on. She noted that she has tried to ignore the messages for a long time but has finally reached her limit.
"I know you wanna be me soo bad! Peleka makasiriko zako mbali na Mimi It’ssoo annoying I have ignored enough!” she added.
Squashing the Breakup Rumours
The confrontation occurred just one day after Dorea and her partner, DJ Dibul, publicly put an end to split rumours. The couple had been the subject of intense social media speculation regarding the state of their relationship.
