President William Ruto has inspected and handed over the Amagoro Market in Teso North Constituency, Busia County, as part of the government’s push to boost grassroots trade and livelihoods.

Ruto said the project reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening small-scale businesses by providing decent and organised working spaces for traders across the country.

“Our commitment to stimulating trade and unlocking opportunity from the bottom up is delivering real impact across the country, as we empower mama mbogas, artisans and small-scale traders to earn a decent and dignified living,” he said.

He noted that similar projects are being rolled out nationwide to expand economic opportunities and support local enterprise.
