The sculpture, titled “King of the World,” was created by an anonymous artist collective known as Secret Handshake. The piece portrays Trump and Epstein standing together in a pose inspired by a famous scene from the 1997 film Titanic.
In the statue:
  • Trump stands behind Epstein.
  • Both figures extend their arms outward.
  • The pose recreates the “king of the world” moment performed by characters Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater in the film.
The sculpture stands roughly 12 feet tall and is painted gold. The two figures are positioned on the bow of a boat facing the Washington Monument, mirroring the cinematic scene that inspired the installation.

Part of a Series of Political Artworks

According to reports, the installation is part of a broader series of artworks created by Secret Handshake focusing on Trump’s past association with Epstein.
Previous pieces attributed to the collective have appeared in Washington, including:
  • A sculpture showing the two men holding hands
  • A work titled “Best Friends Forever.”
Trump and Epstein moved in similar social circles in the 1990s and early 2000s. In a 2002 interview with New York magazine, Trump described Epstein as “a lot of fun to be with.” Trump has also said that the two later fell out and that he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal conduct.
