Popular Kenyan YouTube content creators Becky and Summer, known as Thee Summer Family, suffered property damage after heavy rains flooded their home.
The couple shared the event with followers through a YouTube video showing the aftermath: water-soaked furniture, appliances, and belongings in several rooms.

Flooded Home Discovered in the Morning

According to the couple, the incident occurred after a night of intense rainfall. When they woke up, they discovered that floodwater had already entered their home and spread across the floors.

Video clips posted online showed waterlogged rooms, scattered items and damaged household equipment. The couple could be seen trying to remove water and assess the extent of the destruction.

Summer expressed frustration and shock at the situation in the video shared with fans.

“Imeangusha kila kitu, imeharibu machine zote, sijui tutaanzia wapi,” he said, describing the damage caused by the water.
The couple reportedly spent hours trying to remove water from the house and salvage what they could from the affected property.

Heavy Rains Reported Across Kenya
The incident occurred during a period of heavy rainfall in several parts of Kenya. The Kenya Meteorological Department had issued an alert warning that many regions were likely to experience intense downpours during the first week of March.
According to the weather agency, rainfall exceeding 20 millimeters within 24 hours was expected between March 3 and March 9, with the peak forecast between March 4 and March 7.

Authorities also warned that the rainfall could lead to flash floods, rising river levels and disruptions to transport in affected regions, including parts of the Central Highlands and Nairobi.
