Kenya's most-treamed songs over the last five years

Kenyan music lovers have largely streamed Afrobeats hits over the past five years, according to a new Spotify report.

Data released as the platform marks five years in Kenya shows Ruger’s Asiwaju topping the list of the country’s most-streamed songs, followed by Ayra Starr’s Rush and Bandana by Asake and Fireboy DML. Bien’s Inauma and Asake’s Lonely.

 Local acts Njerae, Mutoriah and Charisma made the top 10 alongside Burna Boy and the trio of Drake, Future and Tems.

The ranking reflects Afrobeats’ dominance and the growing influence of Kenyan artists on digital platforms.
