Content creator and actress Azziad Nasenya has shared a hidden household hack to help fans keep their floral bouquets looking vibrant for longer.

Following a recent grocery run where she treated herself to a fresh bunch of flowers, the media personality revealed a specific three-ingredient formula that she claims can extend the life of blooms for up to 10 days.

A Moment of Self-Appreciation

Azziad, who is widely known for her energetic dance videos and acting roles, explained to her followers on Instagram that she bought the flowers as a way to appreciate herself.

She noted that it had been some time since she last had fresh flowers in her home, despite being a long-time lover of them.

The decision to treat herself came after an emotional weekend at a masterclass event. Azziad shared that while attending the event, she was approached by eight different fans at various intervals.

These individuals, who did not know each other, all shared a similar message: they loved her content and missed her frequent updates.

"You guys were just telling me how you love my content, how you wish I would post more... I’m going to try and post more for you guys and talk to you guys more frequently like I used to,” she promised.

Overcoming the "Overwhelmed" Phase

The creator admitted that she had recently disappeared for a while due to a heavy workload. She clarified that she was not complaining, but rather felt overwhelmed by the blessings and opportunities she had received.

Encouraged by the feedback from her fans, she promised to return to her regular posting schedule, starting with the reveal of her floral preservation secret.

The Secret 10-Day Formula

Azziad shared a "hack" she first learned roughly two years ago. According to her, while a week is a standard expectation for fresh flowers, this method can keep them looking fresh for eight, nine, or even up to 14 days.

The method requires three common household items:

• Sugar: Two tablespoons.

• Vinegar: Three to four bottle tops.

• "Jik": Two bottle tops of a product commonly known in Kenya as a brand of bleach.

How to Apply the Hack

To achieve the best results, Azziad instructs her "fam" to mix these ingredients directly into the vase water. She suggests being a little bit generous with the vinegar.

By combining the nutrients from the sugar with the cleaning properties of the other ingredients, the flowers can resist wilting and bacterial growth for a significantly longer period.

"If you're a lover of flowers and you want them to last for like a week while still looking fresh... Try it. Try it,” she emphasized.
