Growing Political Interest
Omondi has, in recent years, increased his presence in civic and social activism. Through his “Sisi Kwa Sisi” initiative, he has organised fundraising drives and public campaigns focused on social welfare and youth empowerment.
His visibility in community initiatives has contributed to heightened political speculation about a potential parliamentary bid.

Lang’ata Constituency, located in Nairobi County, is considered a competitive political seat due to its diverse voter base and high urban population.
The constituency has previously elected leaders from major political parties, making independent candidacies relatively rare but not unprecedented.

Race Still Open
Despite Omondi’s current lead, the poll also shows that a section of voters remains undecided. The 3.4 per cent yet to choose a candidate, alongside the 2.0 per cent backing other contenders, could influence the outcome depending on how the campaigns evolve.
Opinion polls provide a snapshot of voter sentiment at a specific moment and may shift as candidates intensify outreach efforts ahead of the 2027 General Election cycle.
The survey results suggest that while Omondi currently holds a significant advantage, competition among party-backed and independent candidates remains active in the Lang’ata race.
