Kenyan dancehall artist KRG The Don has issued a public response after fellow singer Kendi criticised his recent win as Dancehall Artist of the Year at the Kenya C Awards.
KRG shared his remarks via his Instagram Story shortly after Kendi’s comments began circulating online. His response combined humour and direct criticism.
“Advice mob pelekea boyfriend yako, umezeeka bila kujulikana kwa hii scene yetu ndogo (laughing emoji)… You know nothing about dancehall, let alone who deserves what!!! jishughulishe na chakula bwana yako atakula lunch hio ndio kitu inakuhusu.”
