The Kibarani-based facility will serve farmers in Taita Taveta, Kwale, Kilifi, Mombasa, Lamu, and Tana River counties.
It will provide tractors, combine harvesters, genuine spare parts, and aftersales support under one roof.
The expansion follows the rollout of New Holland Agriculture’s distribution franchise in Kenya, with Inchcape Kenya appointed as the exclusive distributor.
The move is expected to improve access to mechanised farming solutions across the country.
To reduce the cost barrier for farmers, Inchcape Kenya has partnered with banks to offer financing of up to 95 per cent of the value of tractors, repayable over 60 months, alongside one-year free insurance.
Speaking at the launch, Inchcape Kenya managing director Marion Gathoga-Mwangi said the company is focused on delivering end-to-end solutions for farmers.
“As the official distributor of New Holland Agriculture in Kenya, Inchcape is now exclusively selling the tractors and combine harvesters. You get the full range,” she said.
She added that sales were only part of the solution.
“Our role spans distribution, aftersales support, parts availability, field service by our team and customer education on New Holland Agriculture,” she said.
Mwangi noted that flexible financing is a key pillar in supporting farmers’ long-term productivity.
“Our promise is simple; with you, season after season. Whether you are ploughing, planting, harvesting or transporting, the New Holland product range is with you. You do not need to worry about financing,” she said.
New Holland Vice President for the Middle East and Africa Vincent De Lassagne said the partnership with Inchcape Kenya reflects a shared commitment to local farmers.
“Inchcape Kenya is not only a distributor; it is a strategic partner that understands local needs, stands close to farmers and shares our commitment to excellence,” he said.
He added that the launch demonstrates New Holland’s long-term focus on growth, innovation and sustainability in Kenya’s agriculture sector.
Inchcape Africa managing director Francis Agbonlahor said the collaboration will allow farmers to benefit from global innovation.
“Our purpose is to bring mobility solutions to people and businesses. Farmers across Kenya can now access global innovation and operational excellence on their farms with New Holland Agriculture, exclusively through Inchcape Kenya,” he said.
Inchcape Kenya added New Holland Agriculture to its portfolio in June 2025 as part of efforts to support the shift from subsistence to sustainable farming. The company plans to expand the offering to Meru and Nanyuki as it continues to address mechanisation gaps nationwide.
INSTANT ANALYSIS
The opening of the New Holland Agriculture showroom in Mombasa marks a practical step towards improving access to mechanised farming at the Coast. High equipment costs, limited financing and weak aftersales support have long slowed the adoption of modern machinery in the region. By combining local availability, financing of up to 95 per cent and structured aftersales service, Inchcape Kenya is addressing key barriers faced by small and medium-scale farmers.
