Major Global events celebrated in February

February is marked by several significant global observances that highlight environmental, social, and cultural causes.

On 2nd February, the world celebrates World Wetlands Day, raising awareness on the importance of wetlands.

World Cancer Day and the International Day of Human Fraternity fall on 4th February, promoting health and unity.

Other notable dates include International Day of Zero Tolerance to FGM on 6th February and World Pulses Day on 10th February.

Later in the month, we observe International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11th), World Radio Day (13th), World Day of Social Justice (20th), and International Mother Language Day (21st).
