Ugandan entrepreneur and socialite Zari Hassan, widely known as Zari the Boss Lady, has shared her Valentine’s Day 2026 wishlist, revealing a collection of luxury fashion items whose estimated value could reach up to KSh 6 million.
Zari, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Brooklyn City College and a prominent influencer across East Africa, posted the wishlist on her social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, ahead of Valentine’s Day, which is observed annually on 14 February.

The wishlist is dominated by high-end fashion items from internationally recognised luxury brands. At the top of the list are designer handbags, with Zari indicating a preference for either a Hermès or Louis Vuitton bag.
“Valentine’s wishlist loading,” Zari captioned one of the posts.
While she did not disclose specific models, handbags from both fashion houses are known to retail at premium prices.
Depending on design, material and exclusivity, some pieces are valued at over KSh 1 million, placing them among the most sought-after luxury accessories globally.
Luxury handbags remain a popular Valentine’s Day gift category, particularly among high-profile personalities and fashion collectors.

20 Abayas Included
Another notable item on Zari’s wishlist is a collection of 20 abayas. Abayas are long, flowing garments commonly worn in Muslim communities and have increasingly gained global attention within luxury and modest fashion markets.
The cost of abayas varies widely depending on craftsmanship, fabric and designer branding. A high-end collection of 20 pieces could account for a substantial portion of the estimated total value of the wishlist.

Valentine’s Day Messaging
In earlier posts shared during the same week, Zari spoke about love and appreciation beyond material gifts, stating that she views respect and affection as values that should be practised daily rather than limited to Valentine’s Day.
She has previously used major calendar events, including Valentine’s Day, to share personal reflections while also engaging her large social media following with lifestyle and fashion content.
