StarTimes has expanded its network of Business Halls across the country in a move aimed at improving customer access to its services and support.

The digital television provider says the expansion is intended to reduce the distance between customers and service centres, offering more opportunities for in-person assistance. The Business Halls provide walk-in services including customer support, product purchases, upgrades, and technical guidance.

The centres are now operational in several locations, including Upperhill and Buruburu in Nairobi, as well as Emali, Mombasa, Ukunda, Malindi, Nakuru, Meru, Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Kakamega, and Kapsabet. The rollout significantly broadens the company’s physical presence beyond major urban hubs.

According to StarTimes PR and Communications Officer Robert Ouma, the new locations are already contributing to improved response times and customer engagement.

“This expansion has come in handy for both our customers and the business. We believe good customer service should not be far away, which is why we made a deliberate decision to move closer to our customers,” he said.

He added that the physical outlets provide an avenue for direct interaction, allowing the company to address customer concerns more efficiently and build trust through face-to-face engagement.

StarTimes notes that the Business Halls complement its existing dealership network and form part of a wider approach focused on accessibility and service delivery as the company continues to grow its footprint in Kenya.
