Pastor Victor Kanyari, the founder of Salvation and Healing Ministry, has publicly offered to support internet personality Marion Naipei to start any business she chooses.

His remarks came during a church service at his Nairobi ministry on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in front of congregants and online viewers.

The offer follows widespread attention around Marion Naipei after a video of her in a vulnerable situation was leaked online.

The video sparked national debate about privacy, online shaming, and personal dignity.

Kanyari addressed the congregation on the matter, emphasising that he would not judge Marion based on her past.

He stated that he had viewed the leaked video but refused to let it define her or determine how he would treat her.

In his remarks, he said: “Marion, video zako niliziona zote in detail chenye ulikuwa unafanya, lakini ilikuwa three years ago today; haufanyi hivyo tena.”

He explained that he believes people can change and should not be condemned for their previous actions.

On supporting her throughout the public backlash, he said, “I will never stop supporting you, my sister. However much the world is against you, always count on me. I promise to be by your side forever.”

Offer of Business Support

In the same address, Pastor Kanyari made a notable offer to assist Marion in establishing a business of her choice.

He told her directly: “Tafuta biashara yenye unataka nitalipa any business.”

Translated into English, the phrase means that she should look for a business she wants, and he pledged to fund it.

Financial Gesture at Service

The offer of business support followed an earlier act of financial assistance. During a Wednesday service on January 21, 2026, Kanyari presented Marion with Ksh 50,000 (Kenyan shillings) in front of church members.

This was intended to help her embark on a new chapter in her life following the controversy.

At that event, Kanyari said to the congregation: “And today, because you are my friend, I bless you with Sh50,000. I know you’ll never be down again.”

The gift was framed as support and encouragement rather than charity alone.

Kanyari urged congregants to focus on solidarity instead of condemnation, and his message at the time was: “This is not the moment to attack her; it’s time to stand beside her.

Broader Context of Interaction

Marion Naipei’s appearance in church and her interaction with Pastor Kanyari have drawn attention beyond the ministry walls. Marion has stated publicly that she has turned to her faith during the period of controversy.

In a separate service earlier in January, she said: “Nimebarikiwa sana tangu nikuje hapa … nimekubali bwana, ameniokoa.”

This means she felt blessed since attending and has accepted salvation.

At that service, Kanyari introduced her to his congregation and referred to her in warm terms, highlighting her confidence and resilience.

Reactions and Public Debate

The partnership between Kanyari and Marion has been met with mixed public reactions.

Some supporters have praised Kanyari for standing with someone who experienced online ridicule and personal distress.

Other voices have questioned the involvement of a church leader in supporting someone at the centre of a viral controversy.

These discussions reflect broader national conversations about personal privacy, digital conduct, and community support.
