Search for Nairobi’s Best Barber

IShowSpeed’s team reportedly announced they were searching for a top-tier barber to attend to the streamer.

Nairobi-based celebrity barber Joseph Cutz answered the call. Known for grooming high-profile Kenyan personalities, Cutz has previously worked with figures such as Jalang’o, Jaguar, Samwel Masaki and Wahinya Simba.

After completing the haircut, the barber shared a video showing IShowSpeed admiring his fresh look in the mirror. In the clip, the streamer expressed his appreciation, thanking the barber warmly and praising his work.

KSh 2.5 Million Claim Sparks Online Debate

The moment that truly ignited online discussion came when Cutz claimed that IShowSpeed paid him KSh 2.5 million for the haircut.

Addressing critics on social media, the barber described himself as a premium service provider whose prices reflect his status and clientele.

The claim quickly divided opinion online. Some users dismissed the figure as exaggerated, while others accused the barber of inflating the story for attention.

A Separate Story Emerges From IShowSpeed’s Kenya Visit

As debate around the haircut continued, another behind-the-scenes account from IShowSpeed’s Kenya trip surfaced—this time from the tourism sector.

Benson Talengo, founder of Olmurani Wild Adventures, revealed that his involvement with the streamer began quietly through a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

The NDA That Started It All

The NDA, sent through an agent coordinating IShowSpeed’s African tour, outlined a clear responsibility: to receive a high-end American client at the Maasai Mara with complete discretion.

At the time, Talengo was already an established player in Kenya’s tourism industry, operating Olmurani Wild Adventures and working closely with Venture Talent. The agreement emphasised confidentiality—no publicity, no early mentions, and no leaks.

Only after reviewing the document did Talengo realise the client was IShowSpeed, whose tour was drawing massive global attention.

From Confidential Agreement to On-the-Ground Logistics

The coordinating agent, identified as N54 Limited from Ghana, clarified that Talengo’s role would be strictly operational.

Olmurani Wild Adventures was selected as the receiving and guiding team for the Maasai Mara segment, with no branding or media obligations.

The itinerary focused on a safari experience at the Maasai Mara, one of Kenya’s most iconic destinations.

Why the Maasai Mara Was Chosen

Beyond wildlife viewing, the visit was designed to immerse IShowSpeed in Maasai culture, traditions, and daily life. According to Talengo, cultural exposure was a central part of the plan.

The streamer was introduced to Maasai heritage alongside the safari experience, offering depth beyond the usual game drives.
