Probe as female teacher is found dead in her house in Rongai, Nakuru County

Police in Rongai, Nakuru County, are investigating an incident where a teacher was found dead in her house.

She was a teacher at Rongai Academy in the area.

The colleagues of Marion Muthoni Makori said they saw smoke emanate from her house in Kimangu village, and when they went to check the source, they found her collapsed and dead.

Police said the body did not have any visible injuries and was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and investigations over the January 26 incident.

Police said they want to establish if the woman was killed in the house and the fire staged.
