Final Farewell: Kariokor Crematorium Service for Nakuru Accident Siblings

Family, friends, and community members gathered in mourning to honor three siblings who lost their lives following a tragic road accident along the Nairobi–Nakuru highway.

The three siblings — Emmanuel, 16-year-old Njeri, and six-year-old Kairo — were involved in the crash on January 4, 2026.

According to family members, Emmanuel and the youngest sibling, Kairo, died on the spot due to the impact of the collision.

Njeri, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to a Nairobi hospital where doctors placed her in a medically induced coma in an effort to stabilize her condition.

Despite days of intensive medical care and constant prayers from loved ones, she succumbed to her injuries several days later.

The memorial service was marked by tears, prayers, and heartfelt tributes as speakers reflected on the lives cut tragically short.

Emmanuel was remembered as a dependable and caring brother who carried a strong sense of responsibility toward his family.

Kairo’s joyful personality and playful nature were recalled with both smiles and sorrow, as mourners struggled to come to terms with the loss of such a young life.

Njeri’s passing deeply affected her school community. Friends and teachers described her as disciplined, kind, and ambitious, with dreams that inspired those around her.

Classmates attended the service dressed in school uniforms, laying flowers and lighting candles in her honor.
