Njeri, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to a Nairobi hospital where doctors placed her in a medically induced coma in an effort to stabilize her condition.
Despite days of intensive medical care and constant prayers from loved ones, she succumbed to her injuries several days later.

Njeri’s passing deeply affected her school community. Friends and teachers described her as disciplined, kind, and ambitious, with dreams that inspired those around her.
