Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre has publicly dared government authorities to proceed with the demolition of his church following reports that the building is earmarked for demolition.
Speaking during a church service, the outspoken preacher addressed congregants after claims emerged that officials were planning to pull down the structure.
In remarks delivered partly in Kiswahili, Pastor Ng’ang’a said he had been informed that government agents were planning to demolish the church.
“Nimeambiwa wanakuja kubomoa, si mkuje?” he said, directly challenging the authorities to act on the alleged plans. His comments drew reactions from congregants present at the service.
