The Gaza Strip hosts the highest number of registered refugees, followed by Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh, home to hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees.

Several African camps also feature prominently, including Ethiopia’s Gambella and Melkadida, Kenya’s Dadaab and Kakuma complexes, Uganda’s Nakivale settlement, Sudan’s White Nile camps and Chad’s Adré camp.

The figures highlight the growing scale of global displacement and the heavy pressure on countries neighbouring conflict zones.
