
Chad and Jordan lead the world in reported anger, with 47% and 46% of adults, respectively, stating they experienced this emotion. They are followed closely by Armenia at 43%.
The top ten list reveals a strong regional concentration, dominated by nations in Africa and the Middle East.
Alongside Chad, African nations include Sierra Leone and Guinea (both at 40%), and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (38%).
The Middle East is represented by Jordan, Iraq (40%), Palestine (38%), Iran (37%), and the disputed territory of Northern Cyprus (42%). Armenia and Morocco (37%) complete the ranking.
According to the analysis, the prevalent conditions driving these high levels of anger across most listed countries are active conflict, recent wars, political unrest, and economic instability.
