According to the November 2025 CEO survey by the Central Bank of Kenya, nearly 19% of respondents identify manufacturing as the primary driver of automation and process digitization. This shift suggests a significant move toward "Industry 4.0" practices, where robotics and integrated systems are becoming central to production efficiency.

Close behind manufacturing are Financial Services (15.9%) and the Tourism, Hotels, and Restaurants sector (14.5%). The high ranking of financial services reflects Kenya's established reputation as a regional hub for fintech and mobile banking.

Meanwhile, the strong showing in the hospitality industry points to a growing reliance on digital booking platforms and automated guest services to remain competitive in a global market.
