
Google continued to dominate the global search engine market in 2025, accounting for nearly nine out of every 10 online searches worldwide.
According to data compiled by Visual Capitalist, Google commands a market share of 89.94 per cent, far ahead of its closest competitors.
Microsoft’s Bing ranks second with 4.22 per cent, followed by Russia-based Yandex at 2.18 per cent.
Yahoo holds 1.40 per cent, while other smaller search engines collectively account for 1.41 per cent.
Privacy-focused DuckDuckGo trails with 0.85 per cent, underscoring Google’s overwhelming lead in the search market.
