
A new Infotrak end-of-year survey shows cautious optimism among Kenyans about the outlook for 2026, driven mainly by economic expectations.
According to the poll, 35 per cent of respondents believe the economy will improve in the coming year.
A further 22 per cent said they expect their personal finances to get better.
About 21 per cent cited continued peace in the country as a key reason for their optimism.
Job prospects also feature prominently, with 18 per cent saying they anticipate getting a job or a better one.
Meanwhile, 17 per cent expect their businesses to expand and grow in 2026.
