Some of the Kenyan journalists who died in 2025

In 2025, Kenya mourned the loss of several journalists.

Among them were Leonard Mambo Mbotela (February 8), Njoroge Mwaura (February 24), Fredrick Parsayo (March 21), Nick Mudimba (March 23), and Fofona Bangali (March 28).

The year's toll continued with Silas Apollo (April 10), Ben Ochieng Ogodo (April 17), and Edward Kwach (April 28).

The causes of death were diverse.
