In his address, Ruto expressed his commitment to supporting the construction of a "proper "cultural site in the area to make sure "we inscribe what happened here."
"It is because of our culture that we can approximate the present and plan the future and therefore the more consolidate where we came from, the history of our communities and our nation, the better we can plan today and the more we can predict the future," he said.
