Dancer and fitness enthusiast Tileh Pacbro has sparked conversation online after urging women to stop fearing heavy weightlifting, arguing that lifting heavy weights will not make them “look like men.”
Through a strongly worded message posted on his Instagram Stories, Tileh addressed a common concern he says he often hears from women who express interest in getting fit but worry about developing masculine physiques.

Tileh’s Message to Women: “Stop the Fear”
Tileh began with a comparison meant to challenge the mindset he believes holds many women back from achieving their desired fitness results.
“Good morning ladies. ‘I want a toned body but I don’t want to look like a man’ is like saying, ‘I want to be a millionaire and not a billionaire so I won’t work hard,’” he wrote.
He went on to explain that men and women are biologically different, especially in their hormonal makeup. According to Tileh, men naturally have testosterone levels that can reach up to 20 times higher than women.

“The level of testosterone in men can get up to 20 times that of a woman. So you might have to lift 20 times my weight or swim into steroids just to have a chance of getting this shoulder boulder,” he continued.
Tileh emphasized that without artificial enhancement, it is nearly impossible for women to achieve the bulky, heavily muscled look often associated with male bodybuilders.

In his message, Tileh criticized what he referred to as the fear-driven avoidance of heavier weights in favor of lighter dumbbells, which he believes limits progress.
“So let’s just stop that rubbish and leave those dumbbells for seniors if you want to have serious change,” he wrote.
Inside Tileh’s Fitness Journey and Daily Routine
Tileh Pacbro, born David Otieno, is a Nairobi-bred dancer, choreographer, digital content creator, and founder of Dance 98, one of Kenya’s most recognized dance academies.
Raised in Makadara and later Kibera, he began dancing on the streets with his half-brother, eventually rising to fame as one half of the “Pacbros.”
Although Tileh is not positioned as a traditional fitness influencer, his well-built physique and disciplined lifestyle have made his fitness opinions highly visible.
In a post shared last year, he offered a rare look into his daily routine — a structured cycle that places exercise at the center of his life.
His list began with “Workout”, reflecting his commitment to training. Frequent videos on his Instagram show him lifting weights, doing strength circuits, and conditioning drills, reinforcing how central fitness is to his identity.
Next on his routine was “Eat”, followed by “Take care of oneself”, pointing to his focus on wellness and self-maintenance. His day also includes “Hustle,” a nod to his entrepreneurial grind, and “Take care of those who care about me,” underscoring his value for loyalty.

The list ended with a firm boundary:
“Drop anything or anyone that messes with my peace unapologetically.”
And finally: Sleep — and repeat.
This disciplined approach to life and fitness shapes the authority behind his recent message to women.
