The incident came to light through a series of screenshots  shared by Masai on her X  account, who exposed screenshots of the exchange as she defended her reputation.

How it Started

The controversy began when a user identified as Chris sent Masai a message implying that he had compromising information about her.

She later shared the screenshots on her twitter account  publicly with the caption: “Sometimes ni vizuri kutumia akili na kujua pia unatisha nani. Some of us tunakuaga vichwa coconut ?.”
