Kenyan content creator and media personality Azziad Nasenya has moved to the Commercial Court in Nairobi, seeking orders to halt the planned auction of her luxurious Kileleshwa apartment.
According to the star , the TikTok Queen, who rose to fame during the COVID-19 pandemic, claims she risks losing her home despite having cleared all outstanding loan arrears tied to the property.
Loan Dispute and Court Filing
Azziad says she legally acquired the apartment through a mortgage financing arrangement with a deposit-taking savings and credit cooperative (SACCO).
She argues that the financial institution’s move to recall the entire loan and initiate auction proceedings is both unlawful and premature.
“Consequently, the 1st Defendant prepared the charge dated June 12, 2024, over the Suit Property to secure the disbursement of the agreed amount to the vendor of the Suit Property,” court documents state.

The influencer states that in April 2024, she identified the property located in Kileleshwa, which she intended to purchase as her residence. She applied for and was granted a loan of KSh 20,389,720, formalized in June 2024, after the apartment was transferred to her name.
However, the documents reveal that like many Kenyans struggling under tough economic conditions, Azziad fell into arrears amounting to KSh 1.5 million by September 2025.
She alleges that on September 19, 2025, the institution deducted KSh 2.45 million from her member savings to clear the arrears—yet just five days later, an auction notice was published indicating that the property would be sold on October 8, 2025.
Azziad contends that this decision breaches the loan agreement and the legal charge registered against the property.
She also claims the apartment has been undervalued, being listed as a three-bedroom unit instead of four, which could lead to it being sold below market value.
Seeking Legal Protection
In her plaint, Azziad seeks a declaration that she is not in arrears and that the auction notice dated September 24, 2025, is illegal and null and void.
She is also asking for a permanent injunction barring the SACCO and auctioneer from selling or interfering with the property, as well as damages for breach of contract and costs of the suit.
Azziad maintains that she continues to live in the apartment and intends to keep repaying the loan under the original schedule.

Reports of Auctioning
The speculation began in September 2025 after claims circulated online that Azziad’s luxurious Kileleshwa residence, estimated at KSh 25 million, was allegedly listed for auction.
The reports quickly spread across social media, sparking curiosity and concern from her followers.
This latest wave of chatter came after several individuals claimed that Azziad owed them money — accusations that had already placed her under a harsh public spotlight.

Azziad did not publicly address the reports, choosing instead to pursue legal redress through the courts.
For critics, the unverified auction story seemed like a continuation of the financial controversy, even though no solid proof was ever provided.
However, no credible documentation or official confirmation emerged to support the claims. The story remained largely in the gossip space, yet fans still flooded Azziad’s comment section urging her to respond.

Despite the speculation, Azziad did not publicly address the reports, choosing instead to pursue legal redress through the courts.
