“If you’re gonna be asking me for money every other day then no thanks. Not looking for FWB; otherwise I’m looking for a real friend. Very rare to find nowadays.”

Her statement quickly circulated on social media, resonating with many who related to her frustrations. Fans applauded her honesty, saying it highlighted the harsh reality that celebrities often face — people seeking financial gain under the pretense of friendship.

However, some interpreted her tone as blunt, arguing that it reflected the growing emotional distance between influencers and their followers.

Why She Stopped Helping Fans

In another Instagram post shared shortly after, Noti revealed that she no longer offers financial help to her followers due to a troubling past experience.

Responding to a fan who requested, “Unaeza nisaidie 1000 kindly?”, the rapper explained why she has become cautious about such requests.

“I stopped helping people online after I sent 1k to a female fan who claimed she had no money for pads. The mom found out and reversed the money claiming I’ll convert her child to LGBT! She was underage!”

The revelation shocked many of her followers and reignited debate about the challenges celebrities face when trying to assist fans online.

Some sympathized with Noti Flow, commending her for her good intentions, while others pointed out the complexities of dealing with minors and strangers through social media.

Her experience also reflects broader issues of online mistrust, with many public figures growing reluctant to offer help due to scams and false accusations.
