Wabarikiwe for sparing a life.”

A Grim Irony and a Lesson

Abel, fondly known as Mkurugenzi by his fans, also reflected on the irony of the incident’s location. He highlighted how close the area is to Kahawa Police Station, law courts, and even Kamiti Prison, suggesting that the attackers were bold and undeterred by the strong security presence in the area.

“Yenyewe vijana hawatambui,” he lamented. “From this place — Kahawa Police Station, law courts, and Kamiti — are literally walking distance.”
