Comedian and TV host Dr Ofweneke has stirred up an online discussion about firstborn children. In a recent video, he questioned why firstborns often act so strict and quick to anger with their siblings.

The entertainer, whose real name is Sande Bush, posted the candid video on Instagram.

He pondered the "paradox" of firstborn behaviour, noting their caring side is often mixed with intensity and harshness.

The Firstborn Paradox

Ofweneke spoke directly to his fellow firstborns in the clip. He asked them to consider their own actions.

“But firstborns, let us be honest here. Why are we always so angry? Why can we not just let love happen? Why does our love for our siblings come with so much anger? I do not get it.”

He pointed out how quickly a firstborn's mood can change. One moment they can be loving and generous, and the next they are "lashing out like hell."

The comedian urged firstborns to reflect on their approach, emphasising that relationships with siblings should be built on patience and understanding, not unnecessary strictness.
