Kenyan comedian and activist Eric Omondi is once again using his platform for a humanitarian cause. He is urgently looking for a woman and her two young children who were seen being thrown out of their home by their husband in a viral video.

The disturbing video has caused outrage online. It shows the distressed mother carrying her youngest child while her older son follows close behind.

The man, believed to be the father, shoves them out of the house and leaves them stranded.

On Thursday, August 21, Omondi shared the video and asked the public to help him find the family. He stressed the need for an urgent response.

Others praised Omondi for his swift action, with content creator _uncle_bry writing: “Funny how God uses what you thought was will end you to bring you to greater heights, kama ni Eriko amepost I know her future is bright ❤️❤️.”

Many comments focused on the heartbreak of the situation, especially the trauma the children must have experienced. User @lennirhlugwisah said, “This one broke me eigh, this is how he has instilled trauma to these babies ???.”

DJ Lisney added, “Oooh no… wanafanya tuogope ndoa,” which means, "They are making us afraid of marriage."

Omondi’s shift from comedy to activism has been significant. Through his ‘Sisi kwa Sisi’ initiative, he has led efforts for various causes, from medical fundraising to providing food for families in need.

He once reflected on his journey, saying that after a 17-year comedy career, he realised he had to give back to his community.

“The best thing I can ever give back to Kenyans is my voice, my platform—to fight for the voiceless,” he said.

For Omondi, the goal is simple: to make sure that no one’s cry for help goes unheard. His call to action has mobilised a collective search, proving that in times of crisis, community solidarity can offer hope.
