Taking to Instagram, Cassypool warmly praised the team. He called their win a moment of immense national pride. This unexpected but spirited victory marked Kenya’s first CHAN win on home soil. For Cassypool, it clearly called for a show of appreciation, no matter how small.

KSh 500 for Every Star: A Symbol of Support

In his post, Cassypool pledged KSh 500 to each Harambee Stars player. He described the token not as a grand gesture, but as a genuine thank-you.

“Congratulations vijana wetu, you guys have made us proud,” he said. “This is the first time we have won here in our country. So mimi nataka kuwapea Ksh500 each, hii ni kama appreciation for making our country proud.”

While the amount might have raised some eyebrows online, Cassypool was quick to address potential critics. He reminded Kenyans that true support isn't about the size of the wallet – it's about the intention behind the gesture.

“Wewe uko nyumbani unaweza ona hii ni pesa kidogo, lakini wewe kama Mkenya umefanya nini kuwasupport ndugu zetu?” he challenged.
