Kenyan singer and songwriter Julius Mcrymboh Okello, popularly known as Okello Max, has announced a delay in the release of his highly anticipated ‘Healing Album’, much to the surprise and disappointment of eager fans.

Originally slated to drop on Thursday, July 3, 2025, the project was postponed due to what the artist described as “unforeseen glitches beyond our control.”

In an official statement posted on his social platforms, the Nakufa hitmaker reassured fans that the delay is temporary.

The singer added that his team is working "around the clock" to address the final touches, and emphasized that this is not the end—just a small pause. “Please know that this is not a cancellation. Just a pause. We’re almost there,” he said.

Despite the setback, Okello Max confirmed that the official album launch party is still on, set for Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Masshouse. Fans can still look forward to a live celebration of the body of work once it finally drops.
