Jamaican Dancehall star Garfield Delano Spence, better known as Konshens, has voiced outrage over a viral video showing Kenyan police shooting Boniface Kariuki during protests in Nairobi’s Central Business District on June 17, 2025.
The protests erupted following the death of influencer Albert Ojwang in police custody. Kariuki, an unarmed hawker, was shot in the head and nearly lost his life, an act that deeply disturbed Konshens.
