
The government has advertised several job opportunities across various state agencies, inviting qualified Kenyans to apply.
The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) is seeking applications for multiple senior-level positions as part of its efforts to enhance operations.
In an advertisement dated June 10, 2025, KTB announced vacancies for the following roles: Assistant Deputy Director, Partnerships and Resources Mobilization; Assistant Deputy Director, Business Tourism and Events; Assistant Deputy Director, Business Development, Tourism Product and Place Brands; Marketing Officer, Regional Market; Public Relations Officer; and two positions for Marketing Officer – Social Media.

Applications must be submitted electronically by June 30, 2025, at 5:00 pm.
“Successful candidates will be required to satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity by submitting clearance certificates from relevant institutions,” KTB stated.
KTB is a state corporation established under the Tourism Act, mandated to promote Kenya as a premier tourist destination locally, regionally, and internationally.
In addition to job openings published in the government weekly MyGov, the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) is inviting applications for the positions of Director, Planning and Resources Strategy; Manager, Human Resource and Administration; and Manager, Finance and Accounts.
Applications must be submitted online by June 25, 2025, at 5:00 pm.
“No hard copy application will be accepted,” EBK stated.
“The board is seeking energetic, self-motivated, and competent individuals with high levels of professionalism and integrity to fill the positions.”
The National Research Fund (NRF) has advertised vacancies for Principal Accountant, Principal Information Communication Technology Officer, and Principal Human Resource Management and Development Officer.

Additionally, the Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya-AIST) has announced several professor-level vacancies in various departments.
The departments include Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ICT Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Agricultural Biotechnology.
Kenya-AIST is a newly established, postgraduate-only institution dedicated to advancing research, education, and training in science, engineering, and technology.

Applications, clearly indicating the position applied for, should be submitted via email to [email protected] on or before July 7, 2025.

The National Defence University has also announced a wide range of vacancies across academic, administrative, and technical departments.
Vacant positions include: Deputy Director, Supply Chain Management; Supply Chain Management Officer; Assistant Director, Internal Auditor; Senior Internal Auditor; Principal ICT Officer; Deputy Director, Corporate Communication; Principal Quality Assurance Officer; and Principal Finance and Accounts Officer.
Additional openings include two Accounts Assistants, two Senior Lecturers, three Lecturers, an Assistant Director, a Senior Librarian, a Principal Librarian, and a Senior Records Management Assistant.
Applicants may submit hard copy applications addressed to: The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Finance and Administration), National Defence University-Kenya, P.O. Box 3812-20100, Nakuru.
Alternatively, applications can be sent via email to [email protected], with the advertisement name and number indicated in the subject line.
Applications must be received by June 25, 2025, at 5:00 pm. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original documents during interviews, including academic and professional certificates, transcripts, identity cards, and letters of recognition from relevant professional bodies.
They will also need to submit valid clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Higher Education Loans Board, a registered Credit Reference Bureau, and a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
The university emphasised that no application fee is required and warned applicants against fraud.
“Application for employment at National Defence University-Kenya is free for all qualified candidates. Bribery and other acts of corruption are illegal and will lead to disqualification, arrest, and prosecution,” the university stated.
