Machabe Exits Stevo Simple Boy’s Empire, Cites Interference from His Wife

Sharing the news via his Instagram, Machabe said that he has tried hard to push Stevo to remain focused on music business matters, but interferences from his (Stevo) wife made him walk away. 

He revealed that in the past year, he has done a lot in collaboration with Stevo Simple Boy, including helping him write good songs, get ambassadorial deals with various companies, but now it has become difficult to continue working with him. 

“I have been working under Simple Boy Empire for one year now. But today I have some bad news, and I’ll go straight to the point. We’ve worked closely with Stevo, I’ve helped him write good music, I’ve helped him craft enticing content, at least his presence online has improved,” Machabe opened up.

“I’ve helped him get brand ambassadorial gigs here and there and all has been flowing well until now the wife has interfered with Stevo’s music craft in a way that now she’s the one who wants to manager all this music affairs, controlling him on what to do and what not to do, what time to leave home and what time to return, and that is making it hard to even create company adverts,” Machabe spilled the beans.

Machabe said that this has made Stevo very scarce.

He went on to allege that Stevo's availability is nowadays controlled by his wife, making it difficult for him to deliver on contracts signed with brands.  

Machabe said that he decided to give up on Stevo because, at the end of the day, his brand will be tarnished if companies start talking about how he fails to deliver on time when given work.

“Looking at it, I have decided that I can’t continue working in that way because at the end of the day, Stevo’s brand image will be tarnished and I’ll be one to blame, and I don’t want to be part of the blame games. I have played my part, let others also try,” Machabe added.

“Remember how his brand has flourished in the one year that we’ve worked together, until when he allowed his wife to control his brand,” he recalled.

Machabe began working with Stevo Simple Boy as his artist and, at times, acted as his manager after the artist was left stranded by his previous managers.

During their time together, Machabe and Stevo Simple Boy have managed to create a strong brand that has attracted several brands. They have even traveled to Tanzania twice for work.
