Kenyan comedy group Heha Movers has been moved to tears after receiving a quarter-acre piece of land in Malindi, alongside support towards building a house.
The surprise gift was organized by their manager, content creator Nicki Bigfish.
According to reports, the group announced it during a company event in Malindi, where members were visibly emotional after learning about the gift.
Videos circulating online captured members, including their human resource manager, struggling to contain their emotions as they celebrated the unexpected gesture.
The plot is reportedly located along the Salagate Bypass in Malindi and is valued at approximately KSh 299,000.
Beyond the land, the group received a house design and financial support to build their future home, which they have nicknamed Heha Mansion.
Nicki Bigfish explains the reason behind the gift.
The surprise was intended to recognize the young entertainers’ hard work and provide them with an opportunity to build something lasting from their growing success.
Nicki Bigfish reportedly explained that the gesture was also meant to uplift the group following online stereotyping linked to their background in Kibera.

The gift marks another significant development for the creators, whose unconventional comedy has attracted widespread attention across Kenyan social media platforms.
From Kibera to national fame
Heha Movers rose to prominence through comedy sketches in which members portray executives of an unconventional moving company.
Led by their self-styled chief executive, Mr Wahio, the group wears oversized suits and delivers exaggerated business promises with straight-faced seriousness.

Although their central concept revolves around moving household belongings, their sketches frequently extend to other services, including television mounting, vehicle repairs and cooking.
Their combination of corporate language and Nairobi street humour has helped their videos gain traction on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Before developing the Heha Movers concept, several members were associated with Kibra Laugh Industry, a local group involved in producing comedy content.
Their growing popularity has also translated into commercial opportunities, with the group securing partnerships with brands including Hass Petroleum and Al Siddique Motors.
The latest gift adds to the milestones the entertainers have achieved since becoming internet sensations.
