Kenyan rapper Wangechi Waweru, professionally known as Wangechi, is threatening to spill the beans about a certain Kenyan music producer whom she has likened his behavior to that of American rapper Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs, who is embroiled in several sexual assault lawsuits.

Through her X page, Wangechi claimed that one day Kenyans, especially artists, will find the courage to speak out against the producer she referred to as the 'Diddy of Kenya' who had a habit of taking advantage of female artistes.

The rapper alleged that the said producer was such a typical predator who could prey on female artistes and, at the end, they’d walk out of the studio without having their music recorded.

“One day we shall speak about the Diddy of Kenya and how no female artist ever left that studio with their music,” she tweeted.

Her post attracted mixed reactions from tweeps, with many calling for her to expose the alleged producer now without waiting any longer, while others felt that she wants to frame someone wrongly or maybe chase clout.

@Silvakidole: “The time is now !!!!!!”

@jaymieee021: “I can give you some hints about it, but mpaka useme kwanza.”

@mwitaa: “Diddy dealt with both female and male artists...if it's only females, you just want to frame someone. If you're not saying it now, don’t wait until he dies, then...say now so they are dealt with asap.”

@JosephMasta_: “Clout chasing with 'one day we shall speak..." statement. Si useme sai.”

@marxizm89: “Talk now or forever hold your peace.”

Wangechi began her music career in 2013 and released her debut mixtape "Consume - Chakula ya soul" in July 2013.

Sean Combs, alias P Diddy, has been in the world headlines all for the wrong reasons for about two years now.

He is on trial for allegedly leading a criminal organization that operated through sex trafficking, kidnapping, forced labor, and violence over the course of 20 years, per federal prosecutors in the US.

The embattled music mogul's criminal case, which has the potential to put him behind bars for life if he's found guilty, was seemingly cracked open by a civil lawsuit from his former girlfriend of a decade, Casandra Ventura Fine, on November 2023.

During her testimony early this week, Cassie Ventura revealed, in detail, numerous times how her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs became physically violent.

At one point, Ventura broke down in tears as she talked about going to rehab and trauma therapy in February 2023. She said she was having flashbacks during a shooting for a music video with another artist. She also said she was suicidal.
