Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has made it clear that he will not be accepting gifts of any kind from people who invite him to their events.
Through his X page, Mutua said that he has received enough gifts and has made a decision not to accept them further.
Mutua appealed to the public not to give him gifts from now on, as he will not be accepting gifts of any kind, including money, unless they had previously agreed that he would be given a gift.
“Guys, if I attend your event, please do not give me a drawing of myself as a gift. Preferably, do not give me any gift. Not even money unless we had agreed that I would be paid. I have over 50 drawings of myself from different events I have attended. Hata sina mahali ya kuziweka sasa!!” Mutua made his feelings clear.

Last weekend, Mutua joined the congregation for an evening service at Life Church International in Limuru, led by Pastor T Mwangi.
At the event, Mutua met Morara Kebaso and Kasmuel McOure, where he was later seen praying for them.
Mutua defended the move, saying that as current leaders in different capacities, it’s their mandate to pray for the next breed of leaders to ensure smooth continuity in the society.
“Imparting grace and wisdom to the Gen Z leaders Kasmuel McOure and Morara Kebaso when we met at Pastor T's Life International Church, Limuru, during the Kairos Experience Live Recording by MCSK member Sylvia Akoth. We have a duty to pray for the next generation of leaders to remain strong,” he said.
However, Mutua cracked his followers’ ribs when he revealed what transpired during the short prayer session with the 2 vocal youth leaders.
“I was praying for Kasmuel McOure and Morara Kebaso, then I forgot the name. He suddenly shouts in the middle of the prayer "Kasmuel"!!” Mutua revealed with laughter.
