Renowned Tanzanian producer P Funk is dedicated to maintaining a positive co-parenting relationship with his baby mama, Kajala, despite rumours suggesting she has reconciled with singer Harmonize.

Both P Funk and Kajala attended the first birthday celebration of their grandchild, Amara, who was born to their daughter Paula and her partner Marioo.

P Funk stressed the importance of co-parenting and refrained from speaking negatively about Kajala. He acknowledged her supportive role in raising their grandchild and expressed admiration for her positive contributions.

"Kajala is my co-parent, and I can't speak badly of her. She has changed a lot. She’s been very responsive and understanding, especially in conversations. I appreciate how she supports Paula in raising our grandchild," P Funk shared.

He also expressed his joy over the birth of Amara, his first grandchild, and the joy the celebration brought to the family.

"First, I want to thank God for giving me a grandchild. Today, she turns one, and I loved this celebration, which was mostly attended by children. It's truly been a beautiful way to celebrate a child’s milestone," P Funk said.

"I hope that when my grandchild grows up, she will be a God-fearing person and not a social media person. A good life isn’t defined by social media. On social platforms, there are people who fake their lives, others who are genuine, and many have succeeded without showcasing their lives online. I believe her parents will raise her well," he explained.

He stressed that celebrity status doesn't require public exposure of one's family life.

In addition to the celebrations, P Funk subtly advised Paula and Marioo about the potential downsides of sharing their child’s life on social media.

He further added, "In Bongo, there are many celebrity parents whose children are not known to the public, and their lives are going just fine. Why shouldn't that be the case for Amara? It all depends on the parents' upbringing. That's why I told you that when she grows up, she won't be a social media person."

P Funk believes the pressures of curating a perfect online persona can overshadow the true essence of parenting, which should focus on love, support, and guidance.
