KPLC lists areas to experience power interruption Thursday

Kenya Power has listed areas in 10 counties scheduled for power interruption on Thursday.

The power interruption will occur between 8 am and 5 pm in the different counties.

The utility firm said the power interruption is to facilitate system maintenance.

The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Nyeri, Murang’a, Kiambu, Nandi, Kakamega, Meru, Isiolo, Nakuru/Baringo, and the Coast region.

Parts of Nairobi to experience power interruption from 9am to 5pm are Anselia Close, Lobelia Road, Mainolia Close, and adjacent customers.

At the same time, areas including the whole of Sewage East, St. Luanga Catholic Church and School, Corner Mzuri East, Gatuoro East, Gituamba East, Maji ya Pili East, Lakeview East, NCC Sewage Treatment Works, Jubilee High School, Ruai Primary School, Josna School, Kasinga Farm, Fair Deal Animal Feeds, Parts of Eastern Bypass, RLC Reddamac Leather Centre, Southern Engineering, Southern Beer Factory, Stone Cutters Quarry, Wellkim C/Fact, Gulf Energy Petrol Station, Shell Petrol Station, and adjacent customers will face power interruption.

Others are part of Oloitoktok Road, Methodist Guest House, Part of Argwing Khodek Road, Part of Oledume Road, Kirichwa Road, Elgeyo Marakwet Road, Muringa Road, Ndemi Road, Ndemi Lane, Kilimani Road, Part of Ngong Road, Green House, Adams Arcade, Nairobi Women Hospital, Menelik Road, and adjacent customers.

Parts of Nakuru and Baringo counties scheduled for power cuts from 9am to 5pm are the whole of Mogotio Town, Mogotio Sub-County Offices, Kipsyenan, Ravine Junction, Dale Flora, Athinai, Soin Hospital, Kamnyangale, Lomolo Factory, Alphega Factory, Majani Mingi, Kipkitur, Mugurin, Emsos, L. Bogoria Gate and adjacent customers.

Parts of Nandi to experience power interruption from 9am to 5pm include Kipture, Kipsigak, Kiminda, Kipsebwo, Kosoiywo, and adjacent customers.

Areas in Kakamega set to face power interruption from 9am to 5pm include Harambe Market, Mukheya, Busombi, Khalab, and adjacent customers.

Ntugi Market, Kibirichia Market, Ntirimiti Base Station, Muruguma Market, Murinya Market Kanguambi, Ruibi, Naari, Kimbo Market, Marania, VoK, Kironya, Kathatene, Kaburiko, Kongoni Farm, AA Growers, Embori Farm, Areas in Meru areas in Meru are scheduled for power interruption from 8am to 5pm.

Parts of Isiolo set to face power interruption from 8.30am to 3.30pm include Mutunyi, Daichi Farm, Kweruga, Asili Millers, Mungania Market, Nkado, Engineer, Dr. Kiambati, Ntumburi, TM Market, Lewa, Manyangalu, Matunda, Marete and adjacent customers.

Muirungi Market, Kagicha Market, Kianguru, Chinga Girls, Gathabari, Gathanji, Gichiche Market, Chinga Boys High School, DEMKA, Kinu Market, Gitundu, Ruruguti, Githuthini, Gikurwe and Mahira in Nyeri will experience power interruption from 8am to 4pm.

Parts of Murang’a to experience power interruption from 9am to 5pm are Gaichanjiru High School, Kariua Market, Machegecha, Githunguri Secondary, Kenyoho Secondary, Gatitu C/Fact, Karugia Market, Mutuho Rubis, Githima Village, Kangunduini Market and adjacent customers.

Areas in Kiambu to face power interruption from 9am to 3pm are Kikuyu Town, Universal Factory, part of Ondiri, Kidfarmacco, Gitaru, Rungiri, Muthiga, Kihumo, Magana Factories, and adjacent customers.

In the Coast region, areas will face power cuts from 9am to 3pm.

They include the whole of Manyani Prison and KWS, Manga, Ndii, Ghazi, Paranga, Mlilo, Wongonyi and adjacent customers.
