James Ng'ang'a vs Sammy Ondimu
The ongoing feud between philanthropic police officer Sammy Ondimu and controversial preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a has taken a new turn, with Ondimu strongly reacting after the pastor mentioned his late mother.

The dispute, which started over a struggling mother’s plea for help, has now escalated into personal attacks and heated exchanges on social media.

In a recent video, Pastor Ng’ang’a took a swipe at Ondimu, mocking his financial status.

“This police officer, what is his name? Samuel Ondimu! So Ondimu, you emerged from nowhere… You don’t even have a motorbike. I own a Lexus! Look for your agemates to joke with—those ordinary pastors who are your peers," Ng’ang’a stated.

He went further, warning the officer, “If you repeat it again, officer, your mother will cry."

This remark struck a nerve with Ondimu, who lost his mother in 2012. Reacting with pain and anger, the officer accused the pastor of being insensitive and disrespectful.

"He mentioned my late mother, and this has deeply pained me. His insensitive remarks have reopened wounds and revived sad memories. I cannot allow him to keep threatening me," Ondimu said.

Did Pastor Ng’ang’a Give Milka Moraa KSh 100,000?

Pastor Ng’ang’a has also tried to defend himself against claims that he refused to help Milka Moraa, the woman whose plight initially sparked the dispute.

The preacher insisted that he had given her KSh 100,000 out of his own generosity.

"People are attacking me, saying I didn’t help that woman. I told her that my church is not a place for giving out money. But I gave her KSh 100,000. She didn’t even ask me—I just gave it out of my own will. I am not doing stunts for people to like me," Ng’ang’a claimed.

However, Ondimu immediately dismissed this, stating that Ng’ang’a never gave Moraa a single cent.

"Pastor Ng’ang’a didn’t give Moraa any amount. He is a comedian and should join Churchill Show. I blame his congregants for entertaining this," Ondimu fired back.

Even as criticism mounted, Ng’ang’a remained unapologetic, maintaining that his church was not a charity organization and that he had no obligation to assist people facing financial difficulties.

He made it clear that people seeking financial aid should look elsewhere. He also issued a cryptic warning to those supporting Moraa, including Ondimu, hinting that their actions would not end well.

"Itawakula. Wait and see," he remarked.

How It All Started

The controversy began when a video of Milka Moraa, a struggling mother of two from Mukuru kwa Njenga, went viral.

In the footage, Moraa was seen pleading with Pastor Ng’ang’a for help after her landlord locked her house due to unpaid rent.

Instead of assisting her, Ng’ang’a dismissed her concerns and directed her to seek help from the police or Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.

His response triggered public outrage, with many Kenyans condemning him for his lack of compassion.

Ondimu, moved by Moraa’s situation, took it upon himself to mobilize resources. He raised funds for her, helped her secure a job at ExpressWay Lounge, and arranged for her to get a house under the government’s Affordable Housing Project.

Moraa’s Response to the Drama

Despite the heated exchange between Ondimu and Ng’ang’a, Moraa has chosen to remain focused on her newfound stability.

She revealed that after receiving financial aid from well-wishers, her estranged husband, who had left her six years ago, attempted to contact her.

However, she ignored his calls, stating that she was now concentrating on providing for her children and building her future.

Interestingly, Moraa has also expressed no hard feelings toward Ng’ang’a, saying she appreciated his guidance in directing her to alternative sources of help.
